Hearty and Delicious: The 10th Annual Fresh Meat Festival in San Francisco

After a decade marinating in a host of questionable fluids, the Fresh Meat Festival is ready to celebrate its 10th birthday with the most savory, tongue-tickling performances courtesy of the nation's top queer and transgendered entertainers. The yearly event from Fresh Meat Productions will be bursting at the seams with raw, unbridled talent like you've never seen. New York City-based dance company Vogue Evolution will be headlining -- their first performance in the Bay Area -- showing the audience the fierce realness that won them acclaim on MTV's reality competition show America's Best Dance Crew. Artistic director at Fresh Meat Productions, Sean Dorsey, is obviously thrilled to be presenting this illustrious list of LGBT acts. "A milestone anniversary, a star-studded lineup of world-class performers, DJs, parties, birthday cakes. This is going to be first class all the way," he says. "Voguing, theatre, ballroom, modern and hula dance. Live music and comedy -- there is truly something for everyone at the festival. Whether you're young or old, LGBT or straight, hip or traditional, we have something for you -- everyone and anyone is welcome," he exclaimed.

Performances begin on Thursday and will take place at San Fracisco's Z Space at Theatre Artaud (450 Florida Street between 17th and Mariposa). Tickets range in price from $15 to $20, but should definitely be bought as quickly as possible, because with a program like this, expect that they will sell out.
