Our favorite Icelandic pop singer, Bjork, is getting ready to release her seventh album Biophilia. Technology, art and nature are all coming together on this album and what is making it even more special is that the Apple App store will be joining in as well. Bjork will be setting an exciting trend revealing her new album not only as a CD, but also as an App.
Biophilia for Ipad is going to release one "mother" app that will include 10 separate apps inside. Each of the smaller apps will relate to a song from the album, and will allow us to go deeper and interact with the music. Each song will be able to be explored further, and you can even DJ it up and remix the songs, if you feel the need.
This is a big step between the world of music and multi-media and we look forward to seeing how it all spins out but until the end of June, Bjork has left us with a bit of teaser.
