If you're anything like us, then you've caught the spring cleaning bug. We're junking all the clutter we've accumulated over the winter like hoarders and are wiping the cobwebs from the corners and dusting all the mantles. But in the midst of the cleaning, we've also realized that our homes could use a little freshening up and updating. To be frank, we're tired of looking at the same pictures on the wall.
But finding good art is hard, especially at a reasonable price. And original works? Pshaw, forget about it. "Not so fast!" says the Affordable Art Fair. The organization is dedicated to bringing quality contemporary works to the people for a surprisingly low cost. Ranging from a mere $100 and going upwards of $10,000, there is something beautiful -- be it painting, sculpture or photograph -- for every taste and financial situation. Whether you fancy yourself a fan of portraiture, abstract works or landscape photography, you're bound to find something to tickle your fancy and rescue you from the dreaded home-decorating duldrums. We've already come across a piece we adore (left), a vibrant picture, titled "Sunday" by artist Beckie Reed. But she's only one of many showcasing their talent, so stop by and get your art on!
