Rumor: Balmain Designer in the Mental Hospital?

Christophe Decarnin, designer of obscenely expensive and incredibly sexy rocker-chic brand Balmain, was suspiciously missing from his own show today. Rumors are circulating that he disappeared earlier this year and has been in a mental hospital ever since. The Telegraph's Hilary Alexander interviewed the label's owner, M. Alain Hivelin, who said that it was simply a case of exhaustion and that the designer was at home resting. That seems a little fishy, no? It's Fashion Week and he has a highly influential show -- of course he's tired, but that's part of the job.

If Decarnin is, in fact, in a hospital, then this is officially the most cursed Fashion Week in recent history -- possibly ever. Watch out designers! Looks like there's no telling what could happen to you!
