Pee-Wee Herman Is Coming Back To HBO

Three decades after his first HBO special, Pee-Wee Herman -- aka Paul Reubens -- is headed back to the premium cable channel for an exclusive presentation of his recent hit, The Pee-Wee Herman Show On Broadway.

Opening to critical acclaim at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on November 11, 2010, and wrapping its run January 2 of this year, The Pee-wee Herman Show features the subversive humor and childlike wonder we've come to know, expect, and love from Reubens and which we first witnessed on The Pee-wee Herman Show and the Emmy(r)-winning Saturday morning TV show, Pee-wee's Playhouse.

The Broadway production of The Pee-wee Herman Show starred (in order of appearance): Paul Reubens as Pee-wee Herman, plus John Moody (Mailman Mike), Drew Powell (Bear), John Paragon (Jambi), Jesse Garcia (Sergio), Phil LaMarr (Cowboy Curtis), Lynne Marie Stewart (Miss Yvonne), Lance Roberts (King of Cartoons) and Josh Meyers (Firefighter).

Find out what you missed while Pee-Wee was on Broadway, or if you were one of the lucky ones to catch the show, relive all of its craziness all over again Saturday, March 19 at 10pm ET/PT time. Won't be home Saturday night? HBO will be running encore presenations on a slew of other dates:
