Instead, Tutera meets average women whose dreams of fairy tale weddings are in desperate need of a fairy godmother -- and he is all too happy to play the part. In just three weeks Tutera transforms the lucky brides' dreams -- and admittedly wacky themes which range from Phantom of the Opera to "swamp" (yes, swamp!) -- into weddings they'll remember for the rest of their lives.
Tutera recently stopped by the Out studio to chat about gay marriage , his own dream wedding to his partner, Ryan Jurica, and why My Fair Wedding is not only emotional for the brides, but for him, too:
