Let's Hear It For The Girls: Gaga and Britney Music News

Both Lady Gaga and Britney Spears are set to launch new albums in the coming months and we'll be getting new singles from each of them in the next few weeks.

Lady Gaga, who made a surprise appearance at NYC's Oak Room to sing Nat King Cole's "Orange Colored Sky" and "Someone To Watch Over Me," has moved up the date for the first single (and title track) from her upcoming album, Born This Way, from February 13 to February 11 (sure -- it's only two days but 48 hours is a lot of time when you're talking about a brand new Gaga single).

Yesterday Gaga popped up at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas to debut her Grey Label Line for Polaroid which includes the GL10 Instant Mobile Printer, GL30 Instant Digital Camera and the GL20 Camera Glasses.

The GL20 Camera Glasses, which allow the usuer to take a picture of what s/he's looking at and display the image on 1.5-inch LED screens on the lens, caused the biggest splash at the event. No word on pricing or availability yet. See Gaga in action at yesterday's press conference here.

A demo of Britney's new single, "Hold It Against Me," was leaked yesterday and Brit took to Twitter last night to tell fans "If u think that's good, wait til you hear the real one Tuesday." The song, produced by mega-hit makers Dr. Luke and Max Martin, is the first single from Brit's upcoming (and still untitled) new album due out in March.

Two albums by two of our favorite girls less than two months apart? Prepare the smelling salts and a fainting couch!
