GLSEN is an organization that works in in k-12 schools to build gay/straight student groups as a means of ending homophobia and creating understanding and acceptance among young people. They engage teachers and student leaders -- both gay and straight -- to achieve this goal. I've been working with GLSEN over the last year and had the opportunity meet many of the student leaders and educators and they are nothing short of inspiring.
Pepsi is holding a competition for an organization to receive a $250,000 grant. People just need to log on and vote. TODAY is the last day. I just did it and it literally took 45 seconds. GLSEN is in third place, so your vote WILL MATTER.
