Blake Lively is Taking Over the Fashion Universe.

We get it. Blake Lively is basically perfect. She's gorgeous, but not in an intimidating Angelina Jolie sort of way. She has beautiful blonde hair that looks like she just has to wake up, comb it twice and it looks like she got a blow out at Fredric Fekkai, she legs for days and, worst of all, she seems genial, kind and like a fun person to hang out with. Kind of like the girl you wished lived next door to you. And don't think that Anna Wintour hasn't noticed. While Lively is the star of one of the biggest shows on TV, girlfriend has covered Vogue like she's their damn spokesperson. And we all know that behind those dark glasses, Anna is always plotting something....whether it be sinister, inspired or both. It appears that her latest coup was to introduce Ms. Lively to the Kaiser and plot a new fashion power-duo: Blagerfeld. It was announced this morning that Ms. Lively will now serve as the ambassador of the new Chanel Mademoiselle bag. We're not really sure what that means per se, other than that the actress will be starring in the ads for the bag, shot by Lagerfeld himself.

Both parties involved seem more than thrilled. Blake was quoted as saying "How did Cinderella feel when she slipped on the glass slipper? How did Snow White feel when she met her Prince Charming? [Saying it's] a dream come true is an understatement. I can say that I feel like the happiest, luckiest girl around.". Meanwhile, Karl had some fawning of his own to do: "She's a kind of American dream girl.". Awww, well isn't that enough to make you throw up in your mouth just a little. Anyways, we're happy that Blake has found her prince and that, once again, Anna, has played power-brokering matchmaker to the fashion gods.
