The Legend of Zelda: New York's Latest 'It' Girl is 94 and Fabulous

Ok kids, once is chance, twice is a coincidence but three times? That, dear readers, is called a trend. First we peeped the Lanvin ads featuring a fierce mamma-grandma. Next, the new hot label Celine followed suit by featuring Gitte Lee in their fall ad and now, Out contributor, the singularly eccentric and genuinely lovely Zelda Kaplan is taking her fabulosity to the interwebs. At 94 years young, she is fully embracing her newfound 'it' girl status and taking us on a tour of her closet to get a closer look at just how she acheives her distinctive style.

So listen, we're not going to pull any punches. Getting older is not something we're looking forward to. In today's society, youth is put on a pedestal as if it's something that one can work towards, not just a phase of life, but Kaplan's verve makes us actually look forward to our twilight years. Lord knows it hasn't slowed her down. Her ability to fully embrace and revel in her maturity is truly wonderful, and for that we raise our glass to Zelda.
