Fashionable Scary Things: Hedi Slimane's Newest Video

Seeing as it's October, things are getting pretty spooky around here. For the most part, fashion is relatively free of frightening things -- favoring pretty over petrifying -- but this recent video, directed by former Dior Homme designer Hedi Slimane and posted on The Corner, an online store, is downright bizarre, and it's making our skin crawl. It definitely has some David Lynchian qualities to it, but ultimately, it just seems to be a piece of work suffused with desultory and incongruous imagery -- with no seeming explanation or meaning. Happy early Halloween, indeed.
