It wasn't until later in the show when Ronson took a solo turn center stage to DJ, explaining to the crowd that DJing was his "first job" in New York and that he wanted to relax and have a bit of fun. And fun it was. Ronson seemed more confident, if not a bit aloof and restrained, while dexterously fiddling with computers, gadgetry and the like. He knew exactly how to shape the music into a journey that went from typical pop hits to unforeseen replays of forgotten classics, giving them a new and modern aural persona. As the rest of the band joined Ronson for an energetic finale, he traversed the stage picking up guitars and flirting with his stage partners. But perhaps most telling, was the way Ronson, sweating and out of breath after the encore of "Valerie," from Amy Winehouse's album Back to Black, never took a solo bow in front of his screaming fans. He positioned himself in the middle of the hurried curtain call, and shuffled off the stage quickly once the lights went down. While his combination of talent and good looks may helping him slowly conquer the world's stage, Ronson sure seems like he's taking it in stride.
