Thank the lord. We needed some cheering up after the depressing dose of news we got this AM. Turns out that rumors of Anderson Cooper hosting his own syndicated daytime talk show are true and we can expect to see him gracing our TVs during the daylight hours come fall of 2011. We're all about more Anderson, more of the time. His silver foxiness should be embedded into as many moments of our waking hours as humanly possible. We want to listen to his podcast and simultaneously read his book while riding the subway on our way to work where we will just read his blog and Twitter feed all day. We hope our boss doesn't mind. The show will stay away from hard-news angles and leave all that drama for his CNN show "Anderson Cooper 360", which means he'll probably just talk mad trash about celebrities and reality TV hoes, which is great. We love when queeny, diva Coops comes out to play. It's much more fun than when he's serious, furrowed-brow Anderson (he likes you to use his full name when he's talking about politics or natural disasters, thankyouverymuch). Here's hoping Cooper really ups the ante and give that pesky Ellen a run for her money.
