18-year-old Sky Ferreira is poised to be the next big thing on the pop music block. She's already worked with hitmakers Bloodshy & Avant (whom she hooked up with after reaching out to them on MySpace when she was just 15 and who produced her quirky, irresistible track "One"), Linda Perry, Dallas Austin, Frankmusik, and Ryan Tedder, who wrote "Obsession," the first single off her upcoming debut album due out on January 11, 2011.
Ferreira dropped by the Out studio to chat about everything from the invaluable things she learned by ditching school when she was 14 to her love of David Lynch to her (rapidly growing) assortment of tattoos:
