All Hail the 'Queens of Drag NYC'

Each season on "RuPaul's Drag Race," LOGO shuffles through the drag deck hunting for the nation's next superstar. And, granted, we love what it finds (We're talkin' to you, Bebe "House of Cameroooon!" Benet). But why waste your time on deuces when you can play with a royal flush? Gay.com gathered the finest femmes in the game for its new web series, "Queens of Drag NYC," which debuted today.

Episode 1 follows Sherry Vine (Keith Levy), the glamourama blondie behind a slew of Lady Gaga YouTube parodies and more than two decades of club performances. From tales of her beginning ("You know what they say, f**k a donkey once in Tijuana, make a name for yourself.") to how Levy's mother took his coming out ("Oh please, I've known since you were five. I was just waiting for you to tell me."), we see this queen out of the stage lights and even sometimes, gasp, out of drag. Believe it or not, Sherry Vine says most of the queens in New York are good friends. But, come on, we're hoping someone will throw a little shade during the rest of the series. These are the Queens of the Queens, after all.
