Dog Kisses and Broken Fishbowls

Notable gay photographer Ryan McGinley's short film Entrance Romance (it felt like a kiss) features model Carolyn Murphey in a thrillist display of ecstasy. Shot with a Phantom Camera capable of taking over 1,000 frames per second, the film depicts Murphey being tongued in the mouth by a dog, turning a can of WD-40 into a flamethrower and getting a fishbowl -- complete with living goldfish -- smashed against her head.

Each scene features the Estee Lauder model in various states of calm with counterbalancing, smile-inducing calamity. A chanting soundtrack enhances the mise en scene by amplifying Murphey's subtle movements, while the finale is an almost-haunting, yet whimsical, look at would could quite possibly be a woman gone mad or smiling in the lap of orgasmic satiation. What do you think the film means?
