First there was "Black in America," then "Latino in
America," and now, after successful petitions, Soledad O'Brien is hosting a new
CNN series entitled "Gay In America."
The series will kick off on June 24 with "Gary and Tony Have a
Baby," a report on a same-sex couple's fight to start a family. The trailer promises a heart-warming and dramatic tale involving legal battles, egg donors, and resiliency in the face of hardship.
CNN is planning to explore other aspects of the queer community as well, including gay youth, black lesbians and transgendered people.
