We could resist the chance to pat ourselves on the back and announce that Out magazine has been nominated for its first American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) National Magazine Award in the Photo Portfolio category for the 2009 School Days-themed Out 100. We're up against National Geographic, New York, The New Yorker, and W.
