Lambda Award Finalists Announced

The finalists for the Lambda Literary Awards have been announced and we're pleased to report that many FOOs (friends of Out) are on the list. Out 100 honoreesEdmund White (above, center), Vestal McIntyre, and Nick Burd who were nominated in the memoir, fiction, and young adult categories, respectively, while 2009 Hot Lister Rakesh Satyal is nominated in the debut fiction category. Also on the list are Abdellah Taia, Out fiction contest judge Dale Peck, and the Alyson authors Mary Cappello, Alix Dobkin, and Cecilia Tan. The winners will be announced May 27.
