Colorado Springs to Remain Cleavage Free

Colorado Springs to Remain Cleavage Free

Apparently T&A is not welcome on Colorado Springs bus shelters -- even if they're pink, felt, and fuzzy.

A poster showing a close up of a puppet's cleavage used to promote a touring production of the hit Broadway musical Avenue Q has been rejected by Lamar Advertising. The AP reports that Jeff Moore, a representative for the company says Lamar takes "a conservative approach in Colorado Springs. The city is known for its political conservatism, and some conservative Christian groups have headquarters here."

Instead the poster has been replaced by a tamer shot of another puppet's face.

The Tony award-winning musical will play in Colorado Springs on March 16 and 17.
