Has anyone else noticed how totally unqualified you have to be to throw a holiday party this year? It's like everyone just wants to forget about how shitty 2009 was and the easiest solution is to send out evites with drunk reindeer prancing across them in hopes of luring their friends to their tiny apartment where eating a Fannie Farmer cheese log and drinking lukewarm soy nog will make us all feel better about the last 12 months. But, c'mon people! There's an art to this sort of thing.
Luckily, Grammy winner, DJ extraordinaire -- and GQ's "Most Stylish Man of 2009" -- Mark Ronson (in case youjust awoke from a 14-year coma, he's worked with everyone from Amy Winehouse to Patrick Wolf) knows what he's doing. This Friday night, along with Aaron Lacrate (who's remixed the likes of Madonna and had his music featured on DJ Hero) and Girls & Boys, Ronson will be hosting a holiday party to remember at Webster Hall. All four floors of the (in)famous club will be open and with Ronson and the gang DJing (not to mention drink specials all night long), there's just no way this party is going to suck.
The Girls & Boys Holiday party takes place on Friday, December 18, starting at 10PM at Webster Hall, 125 East 11th Street (Btw 3rd and 4th Avenues).
