Scotsman Alan Cumming, star of the X-Men 2, Cabaret, and Spy Kids, among other films and musicals, and Out magazine favorite, received his Order of the British Empire today from Princess Anne at Buckingham Palace.
The Press Association reports:
"The Scottish star, who was honoured for services to film, theatre and the arts and for his work as a gay rights campaigner, donned a kilt made of the Hunting Cumming pattern for the royal occasion, along with matching jacket and waistcoat."
