Regina's Spektor's next album, Far, will be out on June 23 and I can't wait. I was lucky enough to hear nine of the new tracks in her publicist's office a few weeks ago and they're nothing short of stunning. My favorites -- based on the one listen -- are a rocky, fleshy "Folding Chair" (I've been hoping she'd record it since I fell in love with a live version few years ago) and the quirky, string-laden "Blue Lips," which she recently performed on Later... With Jools Holland:
