Critics Stick a Stake in Lesbian Vampire Killers

It's a supremely disappointing first day of spring. Not only is it snowing in New York, but reviews of the sort of-anticipated British horror-humor flick Lesbian Vampire Killers are rolling in from across the pond and they are Not Good. A project of BBC sitcom stars James Corden and Mathew Horne, the film has been called, among other things, "profoundly awful," "pretty woeful and unimaginably boring," "consistently abominable," "badly written and hastily executed," and "an appalling waste of a perfectly decent title," not to mention a "homophobic piece of toss." Such an impressive array of synonyms for "bites" hardly tempers our profound disappointment.
