Todd Oldham's hip, casual style

Over the last 20 years, 2008 Out 100 honoree Todd Oldham (seen here with Miriam Browning-Nance and Laura Virella) has left his hip, casual mark on the world of style.

From heading his own fashion line to collaborating with companies as diverse as FTD and La-Z-Boy, there are few areas into which the designer hasn't ventured.

Currently the creative director for Old Navy, you can catch Oldham regularly dispensing his savvy style know-how on The Today Show and Bravo's Top Design, where he serves as a mentor to the contestants.

Back in the day Todd was a big fan of DIY projects (remember when he turned that pair of Doc Martens into sandals on MTV's House of Style back in the early '90s?) and not much has changed since then. Here's an adorable clip of him teaching Amy Sedaris how to make tiny decoupage tables (because who doesn't need one of those?) on Homemade Modern:
