Harper's Bazaar makes fashion wishes come true in a special game of celebrity dress-up

You've probably already seen the photos of Tyra Banks dressed as Michelle Obama and campaigning for even more attention than she already has (and probably deserves) in September's Harper's Bazaar. But if you haven't had time to properly pour through the issue, you might not know that the first lady of reality fashion television isn't the only one who got to play dress-up.

Bazaar asked several other style mavens to pick the celebrity they'd most like to be for the day and then made all their secret couture wishes come true. Michael Kors became James Stewart as L.B. Jeffries in Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window. Giorgio Armani chose Fred Astaire. And Karl Lagerfeld suited up in Phat Farm jeans to play rapper Lil' Wayne. "Believe it or not, I love rap," Lagerfeld told Bazaar.

Other designers involved in the shoot include Donna Karan, Donatella Versace, Alessandra Facchinetti, Alber Elbaz, Rodarte's Laura and Kate Mulleavy and Roberto Cavalli. TrendHunter.com is hosting the images specifically mentioned above, but for the full story you'll have to shell out a few bucks for the September issue of Harper's Bazaar or steal the copy from your hairstylist's waiting room.
