What's at least one good thing to come out of our bearish economy? Discounted liposuction! One website is not only offering educational information on procedures but also offering an $800 discount coupon for facilities nationwide. If only this had been available a few months before Pride weekend--I may have donned that thong afterall. [PR Newswire]

Strike that: make it two good things to come out of the bearish economy. Necktie sales are up, presumably because me want to look their best in hopes of keeping or getting a job. [NYTimes]

The whole cinched-waist look for the ladies certainly has no fashion end in sight, and given that we even saw belted waists on men in the most recent spring collections, it's no surprise that one label is capitalizing on the craze. Prada will now offer made to order belts for both men and women, which will be fully customizable to the customers desires. For now the service is only available at the Prada boutique on Bond Street, Sloane Street or in Harrods, but surely the service will go web wide soon. [British Vogue]

The it-boys duo of Rag & Bone (that's David Neville and Marcus Wainwright in case you didn't know) answer a few off beat questions and continue to woo us with their quippy British humor. Cheers! [The Fashion Informer]

One of those trends? Indian chic. The country keeps growing, the market is getting more affluent, and designers are ready to capitalize, and they're not even sari about it. (Weak, I know). [NYTimes]
