Actually, I'd never heard of Patricia Field. Instead the conversation went something like this:
-Patricia who?
-(sighs) You don't know Patricia Field?
-(shifts weight from one foot to the other, nervously) No...
-Oh my god, she did all the costumes for Sex and the City!
-Oh, yeah, I think I have heard of her. Yeah, yeah of course I know who that is! Everyone knows that. (Runs home, switches on the laptop, and googles "Patricia Field")
