Fleetwood Mac frontwoman, Stevie Nicks, has put out "The Dealer," the first cut off her upcoming solo album, 24 Karat Gold -- Songs From the Vault.
In "The Dealer," Nicks comes to terms with misplaced affections. "I was the mistress of my fate, I was the card shark / If I'd've looked a little ahead, I would've run away," sings Nicks in the song's roaring chorus.
According to Rolling Stone, Nicks wrote and recorded the song with Fleetwood Mac for their 1979 album, Tusk. A demo has been circulating around for a while now, but Nicks said in a release that it was the bootlegs being passed around that inspired her to reimagine unreleased tracks from her back catalog.
The album will focus on songs Nick wrote between 1969 and 1987, with two from '94 and '95. If that's not enough Stevie for ya, Fleetwood Mac's embarking on tour come this fall.
24 Karat Gold is out on Warner Bros. on October 7. It comes out on vinyl in a limited edition double LP on September 29. Both the LP and digital album are available for pre-order.
