The LA-native got her start uploading her songs to Soundcloud and, only a few months later, landed herself a record deal. Her two EPs, Fall Over and London, have been met with rave reviews and now the R&B/dance-pop chanteuse is poised to break out into stardom.
She's just released the lyric video for her latest single, "Beggin For Thread." On the track, BANKS lays down delicate, melancholic vocals over a driving, droning beat and then doubles up on the intensity for the chorus. The result is a spellbinding tune that stays with you long after the song ends. If "Beggin For Thread" is anything to go by, Goddess is most certainly worth the pre-order.
