EXCLUSIVE: Arrange Covers P!nk’s ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me'

Arrange (a.k.a Malcom Lacey) puts a glo-fi sheen on the P!nk hit.

P!nk's "Don't Let Me Get Me" became an anthem for disaffected youths worldwide when it came out in 2001. Malcom Lacey wasn't yet a teenager then, but it's clear that for the gay son of an abusive father, the track had some resonance. He's covered P!nk's pop-punk classic and imbued it with his own signature melancholy chillwave sound. More forlorn than haunting, Lacey manages to preserve the track's heartfelt angst even when he atomizes it through ambient synths and lo-fi vocals. Listen to the track above and check out the rest of his music on his Soundcloud.
