We've been loving Escort's danceable blend of disco, funk & soul beats for a while now. And although this single didn't make our 50 Songs of Summer roundup months back since the single package won't be released until Sept. 24--which includes remixes by Little Boots, Jacques Renault, and Tippy Toes--the collective always knows how to show a good time. We aren't quite sure exactly where this fun Avenue A locale mentioned in "Cabaret" is located (and if we did we might keep the secret to ourselves a little longer), but Escort definitely evokes the uninhibited heyday of NYC nightlife on this new song.
