The LGBT Electropop group will release its new album in October, but you can hear their latest song now.

Synth-loving Brooklyn group JD Samson & MEN released their latest single "All the Way Thru" today on Pitchfork, and the song will be available for purchase tomorrow on iTunes and directly from the Men site.

In case you've forgotten, MEN released their first album, Talk About Body, in 2011. JD Samson has been a musical heavyweight since her time with Le Tigre and we've been paying attention--we featured her in 2011 Out100 and have been keeping tabs on her ever since. MEN is primarily comprised of Samson and Michael O'Neill, but they consistently work with collaborators and remixers.

The full album, titled Labor, will come out on October 22, but the All the Way Thru EP will be out soon--August 20. It'll feature remixes of the track, which plays like "halcyon-age Madonna." It's somewhat effervescent and has some serious synth action, but it's in no way vapid like other electropop offerings. Samson's voice and lyrics ensure that this music is anything but empty, mindless beats.

So whether you're already a fan or are just discovering MEN now, make sure to listen to Talk About Body while you're waiting for the sophomore album about which Samson says, "I want people to feel feelings. Some songs are pop songs, and some are experiential in nature. Many of them are depressing, some of them are joyous. This is a record. In more than one way."

Samson and MEN take a whole different approach to electronic music, and we can't wait to hear more.
