We previously noted that the music from the upcoming Baz Luhrmann version of The Great Gatsby was going to be a must-hear, and the tracks released so far are proof that it's a musical event if nothing else.

From the power ballad by Florence + The Machine that captures the emotional story of Gatsby, to the haunting (and most likely Daisy Buchanan-inspired) song from the sultry Lana Del Rey, there's a great mix of pop, rock, electric, and R&B to be discovered on the album when it's finally released.

Other songs currently out include The xx's (one of our faves as you can see from this story) mellow and sensual "Together," and "Into The Past," a soft electric song from Britain trio, Nero (vocalist Alana Watson is pictured above at right).

But the party doesn't stop there, as one of the most upbeat tracks we've heard from the soundtrack so far, Fergie (along with rapper Q-Tip and producer GoonRock) sings how "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" in a fun pop-rap hybrid that mixes the saxophone with club beats.

These songs are a nice reflection of how the film's music as whole will use the sounds from today to display the Roaring Twenties onscreen. Listen to the songs below:

Florence + The Machine - "Over The Love"

Lana Del Rey - "Young and Beautiful"

The xx - "Together"

Nero - "Into The Past"

Fergie, Q-Tip & GoonRock - "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)"
