"Am I Not Your Girl?" is the second single from Betty Black's forthcoming EP Bad Weather, due for release this summer. Black conceived and directed each of the stylish videos for the gripping sultry ballad. The "official" premiere is this weekend at Bartsch's Vandam party.
"My intention for this video was to give the viewer the idea that the character was some sort of motel mistress pining for a man she can only have part time but as you watch you realize she was actually a hired assassin in disguise. What actually came to fruition was not as clear," Black explains. "Not so bad considering it was just me, my boyfriend, a camera and an idea. Neither of us is involved in the film and video world, so we made do. It made for one fun little California vacation."
The second video, for the D. Parks remix, is even more major. It includes Jordan Fox, Karlo Bueno Bello, Dylan Monroe & Sharon Needles!
