The openly gay pop singer and rapper releases his latest single

Solomon may be young, but the openly gay pop singer and rapper isn't waiting around for anyone to do all the heavy lifting for him. Last year, he opened for Deborah Cox and had some success with a cover of Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" as well as his music video for his single, "Wit Us U Can't...", on LOGO's NewNowNext PopLab.

Now he's back with another dance track, the mellow and infectious "Life Goes On," released on his own SoloRay Records. In the process, the cutie has amassed a diehard base of fans that he refers to as Love Rockers, and who he hopes he can continue to inspire and entertain.

"It's important that I am forever honest with my Love Rockers," Solomon says. "I didn't have anyone to look up to when I was 12 and 14, so I feel like I have an inherent responsibility to be their voice--to assure them that we're pretty dope and that it's cool to be you."

How does he get it all done? He's joked that his breakfast routine is "iced coffee, Red Bull, and Adderall. And an apple." And we kinda believe him. Read more about Solomon on his blog. And check out "Life Goes On," which is available on iTunes and Amazon.
