Jay-Z Is Cool If You're Crazy In Love With Someone of the Same Sex

Yeah right, like he's going to piss off his wife's most die-hard fans.

Let's face it, folks, while the President may be one person of influence in the country, it's the world's entertainers whose opinions matter most in times of moral crisis. For that reason, CNN wrangled rapper/entertainer Jay-Z (or Mr. Beyonce Knowles or The baby daddy of Blue Ivy Carter, as we like to think of him) to weigh in on the Obama's historic proclamation last week. If you're still under the impression that rappers are bastions of swaggering machismo and use their medium to disseminate homophic propoganda, then you haven't been keeping up--they, too, have evolved. Mr. Knowles eloquently notes that it's none of the government's business who we sleep with (he's right!) and that this prejudiced viewpoint is much like the discrimination that the black community once faced, and still grapples with today.

Most importantly, though, he's gotta know that if says a single bad thing about the gay community, he's going to alienate his wife's biggest and most hardcore fan contingency--the gays. Just search "Single Ladies" in YouTube...you're gonna see a whole lotta gay up in there. But all joking aside, the widespread support of the LGBT community coming from high-profile people is nothing short of incredible, and sends a positive message to so many people--and for that, we'll forgive him for sampling "It's a Hard Knock Life," from the musical Annie. You're welcome, Jay.
