Several rumor sites are reporting, including a few that are somewhat reputable, that Travolta finally got too handsy and is being sued by an anonymous masseur for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
We know that Travolta is guilty of many things--including horrible films such as Battlefield Earth (that's him pictured left in all that makeup as a Scientology myth brought to the screen)--but now, according to sources, the plaintiff alleges that the actor "shamelessly stripped down naked in front" of him and was "semi-erect" before things even got started. Travolta then allegedly started rubbing the plaintiff's leg before being asked to stop; and just moments later, touched the victim's "scrotum" while snickering "like a mischievous child."
The plaintiff is seeking $2 million in general damages, unspecified punitive damages and court costs.
Travolta's camp released this statement to E! News about the matter:
"This lawsuit is complete fiction and fabrication," it reads. "None of the events claimed in the suit ever occurred. The plaintiff, who refuses to give their name, knows that the suit is a baseless lie...On that date when plaintiff claims John met him, John was not in California and it can be proved that he was on the East Coast. Plaintiff's attorney has filed this suit to try and get his 15 minutes of fame. John intends to get this case thrown out and then he will sue the attorney and Plaintiff for malicious prosecution."
No matter what, this is bad news since it means that Travolta will have to do MORE bad flicks for big paychecks to make up for whatever legal fees he's forced to incur.
