Daniel Radcliffe Has Sex With Groupies

Watch out, Ryan Gosling—Harry Potter gets what he wants.

Daniel Radcliffe is telling the press things. SO. MANY. THINGS.

Just the other day, he was saying that he would go gay for Ryan Gosling. Before that, he was sharing details about his manscaping. And earlier, he was like, Lana Del Rey is OK.

But, wait, there's more!

“I was always very nervous about the groupie thing. I like to like somebody before I sleep with them,” Radcliffe told the The Mirror [via NY Daily News].

(Side note: I can totally relate. I'm always pretty hesitant to approach the Out magazine groupies that cluster outside our offices, barefoot, hoping that I'll grant them—and their rolling luggage—the divine right of acknowledging their presence.)

“You know, you’re going to have to talk to them afterwards, even if it is a one-night stand,” Radcliffe continued. “I have . . . I mean, that has happened, but generally speaking I’ve known the person. Apart from a few times when I was drinking.”

I don't know if this is some attempt to drum up interest for The Woman in Black, or if Radcliffe is feeling the need to distance himself from the adolescent franchise that made his career. (Don't worry, Daniel, we still check the Leaky Cauldron multiple times a day!) But if he keeps telling the press things—anything, really—we might have to take a note from Rebekah Black and expand our editorial staff to include an official Harry Potter reporter.

To the man's credit he seems to suggest that this happens little and certainly less now that he is not drinking. He has decided early on that the self that he likes is not the self that mixes with alcohol.

This is... unexpected. Think he's gone a bit too far there.
