Queer/Art/Mentorship, the art program that creates and supports mentorship between emerging and established queer artists in New York City, has announced its 2013-2014 Fellowship winners.
The Fellows were selected after a rigorous two-month application and a review process amongst over 100 applicants in each field. From there, 11 artists were chosen, spanning five artistic disciplines: performance, literary, film, visual arts, and curatorial.

Founded in 2011 by filmmaker Ira Sachs (who just finished up his latest movie Love is Strange) and Pilobolus Co-Executive Director Lily Binns, Queer/Art/Mentorship aims to start conversations about what it means to generate and curate queer work in NYC and America.
In previous years, Fellows had their work exhibited at venues such as MoMa, MoMa PS1, Monya Rowe Gallery, and Brooklyn Rail. Let's wish the new Fellows a successful year!
