Christopher Rice has been one of our Top 10 Most Eligible Bachelors for several years now. Perhaps the hunky writer remains single because he's so hard at work writing? Now his latest, The Heavens Rise, will be available October 15.
To set the tone for the supernatural thriller--which he sets in New Orleans once again--gay, bestselling author (oh yeah, and son of famed Interview with the Vampire author Anne Rice) has released a "cinematic" new promo.
"In a city fighting for its future," reads a a vague and ominous description, "a dark truth will be revealed and a power will be unleashed..."The Heavens Rise is more specifically "about a psychopath infected by a parasite that gives him the power to control other people's minds," Chris explains in a piece he wrote for HuffPo.
Rice also discusses the book on his comedic podcast The Dinner Party Show With Christopher Rice and Eric Shaw Quinn.
