The star of the reality show Work Out (Bravo), and owner of Sky Sport and Spa, a gym and spa in Beverly Hills, CA, opened her fridge to Out's snoopy staff and 'fessed up to her daily dish.
Day 1
BREAKFAST
Protein shake (whey, flaxseed oil, amino acids, miracle greens, frozen berries)
MID-MORNING SNACK
Oatmeal
LUNCH
Avocado, lettuce, and sprouts sandwich on whole-grain bread
Mixed greens salad with ginger dressing
DINNER
Grilled salmon
Broccoli
Quinoa
Herbal tea
Day 2
BREAKFAST
Protein shake (whey, flaxseed oil, amino acids, miracle greens, frozen berries)
MID-MORNING SNACK
Apple
Slice of lean turkey meat
LUNCH
Chef's salad with balsamic dressing
DINNER
Sushi (soy paper no rice)
Tuna tartar
Edamame
Herbal tea
Our Nutritionist says:
Where's the beef? Although, it's fine that Jackie gets her protein from fish and vegetables it seems like wonder woman may need to eat a bit more food as heavy workouts require more calories and (more important) nutrients. Dairy is a common allergen and can cause a lot of problems, however quality dairy products may add calcium and B12 to Jackie's diet. Other than that, it's pretty hard to say much about someone's diet that contains so-called miracle foods. Jackie clearly gets her greens and a fair share of omega-3 fatty acids from all that fish -- foods often missing from the Standard American Diet. I'm wondering if Jackie's diet isn't a little too perfect! After all, a cupcake once in a while is nourishment for the soul.
