The Gay Agenda

TUNES: Pick up Annie Lennox's her new release, Songs of Mass Destruction, when it hits stores October 2. Out editor in chief Aaron Hicklin noted in his interview with the iconic chanteuse that Destruction, Lennox's fourth solo album, features "some of her strongest offerings to date, her brooding introspection tempered with spry, robust melodies." Destruction seems destined to become the most exciting record this fall.
BALLS: With all the long wooden bats, flying balls, and appreciative ass grabbing, it seems like softball couldn't get any gayer. Think again. This year, the Phoenix Municipal Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona, will host the 2007 NAGAA Gay Softball World Series, which runs from October 1-6. For more information, visit Series2007.org.
SPECTACLE: Who says it's tacky to wear white after Labor Day? On Columbus Day weekend (October 5-8), notorious party planner Jeffrey Sanker will host White Party Las Vegas in Sin City itself. After you're done pulling the levers on the slot machines, head over to the festivities and, well, maybe pull on another lever. Get the scoop at JeffreySanker.com.
